My old self would have said “ABSO-EFFING-LUTELY!!!”

As the only time I wore trainers was in the gym. THe only other exception was if walking around a city for hours on holidays and I had to wear something more toe-friendly. The choice was usually beloved ‘broken-into’ pair of ballet flats from French Sole or Tods soft loafers.

Now, running after a 14 month old who is trying to run before she even mastered walking, 10-inches wedges is not an everyday option. My husband got me a personalised pair of Nike Dunks High and I have to admit that despite feeling like the proverbial mutton I do wear them.

I’m European. I wake up in heels.
